Privacy Policy

This privacy policy explains how Big Five Wildlife Safari Tours collects, uses, and protects the personal information you provide when using this website or contacting us about a safari. We take your privacy seriously and we are committed to handling your data responsibly.

What Information We Collect

When you fill in an enquiry form on this website, we collect the name, email address, phone number, and travel details you provide. If you contact us by email or WhatsApp, we keep a record of that correspondence. We do not collect payment card details through this website — any financial transactions are handled separately and securely.

We also collect standard website analytics data through Google Analytics, including your approximate location, the device and browser you are using, and which pages you visit. This data is anonymised and used only to understand how people use this website so we can improve it.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information you provide to respond to your enquiry, build your safari itinerary, and communicate with you about your booking. We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not add you to marketing mailing lists without your explicit consent. The only third parties we share your information with are the camps, lodges, and airlines involved in your booking, and only the information they need to confirm your reservation.

How We Protect Your Data

Our website uses HTTPS encryption. We store correspondence and booking information securely and limit access to staff who need it to do their jobs. We retain your booking details for as long as is necessary for legal and accounting purposes, after which they are deleted.

Your Rights

You have the right to ask us what personal data we hold about you, to request that we correct inaccurate data, and to request that we delete your data where we are no longer required to retain it. To make any of these requests, contact us at info@bigfivewildlifesafaritours.com.

Cookies

This website uses cookies for analytics purposes via Google Analytics. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though some features of the website may not function correctly if you do.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page. If you have questions about how we handle your data, please contact us.
